The Supreme Court will review the so-called TikTok ban in January, days before the ban is set to go into effect. That they are agreeing to hear this case may be a good sign for TikTok. It looks like SCOTUS or the whims of the new POTUS are its best chances for survival in the U.S.

What’s the best response to signs of suicide? Based on law enforcement’s track record of dealing with mental health incidents is that the best responder or is there another option? The potential consequences of the proposed solution seem to be left unconsidered or disregarded until it’s too late.

For me, policy often fails to close the loop. There is a problem (teen suicide), so a solution is proposed (monitor teens for signs of suicide), but then the logic falls into a void.
