Ok. I won’t be watching it. Subject matter aside, I find Theroux deeply problematic. Two reasons:
I’ve seen episodes that appear exploitative of vulnerable-appearing people.
The “I couldn’t intervene, I’m just here to observe” stance he appears to take.
With the latter, not just the famous example.
