I don't really pay hard attention to the rosters of teams outside of the AFC but I'm curious which teams even need a TE with the budget available for somebody like Travis! I wonder if he'd have to take a pay cut, but if it's another shot at winning something you love, maybe that pay cut is worth it

Buffalo has been talking about something similar RE: some people thinking Josh Allen's talent is wasted here. I disagree (imo he isn't that talented of a QB he's just bold) but I acknowledge that he has the notoriety to be picked up by a winning team. He is consciously choosing Buffalo (for now)

Exactly! And IIRC their reserve QB is also going to be on IR for a spell too. KC is really not in a good spot going into preseason training, fans can say Travis loves KC (and he does) but his career at the end of the day is his, and he has the notoriety to leave and get picked up elsewhere

Also even if Mahomes's ACL surgery went well, I don't think he'll be good as new next season! I imagine healing from that takes some time even with all the access in the world. I think the chiefs are in a growth period now, if Travis wants to win he's gotta try someplace else
