This looks like a frame from an animation. So beautiful
"it's a grubby one" hell yeah hell yeah
For monster lovers and creature design aficionados, this might be the book for you. MORPHA is due for a Kickstarter launch next month and I'm excited to reveal that I'm also taking part!
A team of over fifty artists will help make this happen, all to be slowly revealed in the coming weeks.
A digital painting of a white unicorn with a crest-like mane standing in a tranquil forest surrounded by branches, leaves, and drooping vines. She stands with her back to us so we see the curve of her neck as she turns her head. Her horn glows white and there is a sparkle on its tip. The colours are quite a dusky monochrome with some details of red, pink, purple and blue in the foliage.

Two drawings of a monstrous batlike humanoid drinking blood from the neck of a girl. The caption reads βBOTH OF US SURRENDER, VANISH INTO OURSELVESβ
Closeup of the monster drinking from the girlβs neck, who seems relaxed and happy about it. The overhead caption reads βAND EACH OTHERβ

This is amazing π beanpole
A sepia dry point illustration of a knight in profile, down to his waist. He wears a decorated German sallet helmet with the visor down. Only his eyes are visible.

Gasps I almost forgot he existed
Iβm so delighted to see that it was a South Walian beach that helped develop this cover. When reading DRAGONSDAWN I pictured the exact same coastlines and sand-scapes even as I stood on them. Imagining clutches of eggs warming underneath. She described it all so vividly and your art does it justice.
This is what OCs are for π©·
She reminds me of a chess piece. This is such a cool angle showing the end of the skirt!
I thought this was one of those popout cards! The effect is amazing. And what a cute baby π©·
They look like my bad dreams, but in a good way. I like the skellyfish

Still dead chuffed with my runaway horse postcard. π

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is stay soft in a world that keeps asking you to harden up.
Pay attention to what steadies you β a quiet moment, a voice, a song β and keep those things close. They ainβt escapes; theyβre anchors.
I like Oscar. Long live Oscar.
a medieval illustration of an anatomically accurate woodcock perched in the floral margins of a manuscript
the "medieval people didn't know how to draw animals" crowd has been real quiet ever since john siferwas dropped the Perfect Woodcock
Oh perfect
I love those thumbnails. Seeing all the possible routes an artist could've taken is so eye opening. The final piece is beautiful too; it manages to appear both tranquil and threatening.

Oh but his skirt is so smart. I'm jealous.
A maximalist, monochrome digital illustration starring a number of fictional characters from my Curse of Strahd (Dungeons & Dragons) game with an ornate frame of leaves and animals associated with the occult. As featured, carrying various props: Thistle the flying imp (holding a tiny knife), Mitts the undead pugilist (wielding a shiny golden knuckleduster), Mina the vampire (dressed in decorative armour with a glowing sun-like medallion), Aerimil the elf-turned-Hexblood (holding an evil crystal heart and guarded by four glowing white moths) and finally Mallory the witch, accompanied by a huge raven (with a black embossed tome in her arms).
A gift for my party and DM.

I hear you. Ironically, coming to BlueSky has quietened that down a lot for me. And reading. I see more art now. The internet we had in our childhood is long gone!
This is one of the most beautiful intricate puzzle designs I've seen! The colours are so inviting and appealing. Beautiful work β€οΈ
A square, mirrored illustration of two griffins sitting opposite each other, their forepaws touching and wings tucked in. Their back legs are blue, scaled and clawed like a birdβs. Their tails are long, catlike and feathered with a tuft of white fur on the end. Surrounding them are decorative black chains and golden leaves on twisting vines to complement their forms. In the middle hangs a symmetrical branch of golden leaves pouting upwards. Above their paws, hovering between their heads, is a small golden sun with long stylised rays. The overall colour scheme is brown, yellow, cream and blue.
A white anthropomorphic cat leaps upward, wielding a pink staff with a black star crystal encircled by metal and four small wings. He wears a pink suit with a pink bow, and his eyes are pink too. At his side is a Dachsbun, a small dog that looks like itβs made out of toasted bread buns. Behind the two is a big pink heart-shaped bubble, set against a dark turquoise background.
The face and shoulders of an aquatic-looking woman, her face and throat white, the rest of her a mustard-yellow striped with teal green. Her hair is made up of flattened tendrils like seaweed descending from her scalp, and her eyes are closed serenely.
A sepia tone dry point of a womanβs head and shoulders at a 3/4 angle. Her dress has a decorative hem and exposes her collarbone. Her pale hair is loosely tied back with plaits into a bun. She stares ahead with very pale eyes, a relaxed and thoughtful expression on her face.

You can call me Cee! Iβm a Welsh artist living in Scotland with a love for nature and fantasy. I often combine these elements to depict fantastical creatures. A lot of my humanoid characters end up getting a magical side to them too.

She is amazing. I love her design. Did a specific culture inspire it all?
