With a 3D printer, I'm unstoppable! Found the original model on Thingiverse, trimmed down to remove the back part so I could add in hooks and hang it on the shoulder of my battle jacket for the Portland ritual. Now it lives on my wall. #ghostband
I’m so calm and normal right now you have no idea.
Part of the slow down on the comic launch is I got. 3D printer and was utterly consumed in a creative frenzy. First 3 I downloaded. Last 1 I fully designed and modeled myself.
By Any Means is launching as soon as I get my shit together and build my launch package. So I started working on character art. Crawford on left, Jackie on right. I’m thinking of renaming the middle guy to Zane because he’s changed so much.

I need to pick up some meds from the pharmacy this weekend and have two doctor appointments next week so anything helps. I apologize for constantly hounding for help, I understand it is annoying and frustrating. I really do.

I’d say building out of wood was cheaper even if the base material is a bit more. But that’s only because I have access to my retired carpenter dad’s garage full of power tools. And after nearly breaking my wrist with a hole saw I’m not keen to return to it.
That was still just for a hobby, though. So was it really worth the money? But then I started looking at all of the little, odd sized things I could make. Custom fit everything. Faster and easier than the stuff I’ve been trying to build out of wood.

If Audrey’s name doesn’t ring a bell: she left HW to work for Kickstarter. A job she then lost before her first day after an avalanche of bullshit about her got exposed. Not not paying artists and failing to fulfill rewards FOR A KICKSTARTER.
If not an iPad then anything that uses an EMR stylus (same tech as Wacom) like the Samsung Tab S series. You can then get the Dr. Grip Digital stylus if you need something big and chunky to relieve stress.
I was dating someone who ended up running a comic with them. And several of their big hitters often came over to hang out with my partner. That was like 10 or so years ago so I can imagine the bullshit I was witnessing to then has severely festered.
I was never part of Hiveworks but I Knew Some Shit about it. And I’m 0% surprised by what’s happening. I’ve never been so relieved to be ghosted on a submission (I tried SO HARD to get in with them in like 2018). And I don’t mean casual observer nonsense. Audrey Redpath was my roommate.
My 1st comic’s been on HW since 2017 and while I was largely left alone (I don’t let anyone touch my work), I did witness the favoritism plus unprofessional and incompetent business practices from staff. I can corroborate my peer’s stories in the statement and what they’ve shared individually
