living into a ripe old age and being survived by the sentiment that made you famous when you were young has to be a real double-edged sword here
I was exposed to the Woodstock album and film from a young age and the I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-to-Die Rag was burned into my brain and has remained there since
Happy women's day if you're a woman

The levels in Tibet also return the series to its roots: Lara shooting endangered wildlife
This is after she broke into a monastery and ruthlessly murdered all the monks that were trying to protect their home from invaders
I appreciate that Lara Croftβs first reaction upon learning yetis exists isnβt βholy shit yetis are realβ but rather βmust murder all the yetisβ
future society that has to extrapolate what our society was through the only remaining archive of our time which is a billionaire's bunker with a pristinely kept climate controlled secure vault full of erin esurance porn
Too bad we're rolling with it. πΌ
I appreciate that Lara puts on a bomber jacket because sheβs in a cold snowy climate but is still wearing her hot pants
Back on my Tomb Raider 2 BS after a few days and I have at last reached The Snowmobile Level, which Iβm sure wowed me back in 1998 with its janky vehicle physics

That is something she joked about. She was like βSo basically Mike Myers just plays Mike Myers in everything, including Shrek.β
Also there are a few actors in Wayne's World who later went on to act in several shows my partner likes. She was amazed that Rob Lowe basically looks the same 30 years later, and she was also amused seeing a younger Ed O'Neill (she loves Modern Family) and also Kurt Fuller (whom she loves on Psych).
She seemed to like it, and there were several bits where she legitimately was laughing out loud. So that was nice.
I didn't put on Wayne's World 2, though. I do have *some* limits. (And also I don't like that one very much.)
My partner got me the Wayne's World two-fer Blu-Ray set for Christmas last year, and the other day we finally sat down to watch the first film. First time for her, first time in quite a while for me. I'm glad that it still mostly holds up, and a lot of the funny bits I remember are still funny.
The resemblance is still uncanny.
Target is basically the closest store of its kind to me; I could walk to the nearest location. I used to go there at least once a week whenever I needed something quickly. I've been there once in the last year (because they're the only store around with fitting rooms). Dropping them was pretty easy.
