Red smoke from a crowd of football fans with one standing up with two flares in his hands. A caption reads βDundalk will never die, but you willβ
The wife and kids are away so Iβm using my time wisely and productively - by watching Dundalk v Drogheda. #cmondatown
I feel seen.
I only notice it within the same game when 60fps is an option. But if there is only 30fps I donβt see a problem.
But then I did always love playing Virtua Racing at about 18fps on the 32X.
I was already clinging on to a similar stat just for the vaguest glimmer of hope, just because the third try they conceded was earlier than the one we did.
The fourth try just allowed me to exhale, as I cling on to my conditioned need to not be the absolute worst in any random sporting scenario.
Suddenly kicking from halfway isn't so much of a challenge
Why oh why, must it be this a-way?
Oh mate. Dare I say, welcome to the world of being a Saints fanβ¦
Youβve seen our form, right? Good luck with that!!
Oh no no no. Donβt do that. I wouldnβt wish that upon anyone. Even one of your kind. Or a Pompey fan.
I *refuse* to accept sense infect discussion of a derby. Thatβs not what the internet is meant for.
Colin. Regardless of whether or not we agree, you canβt say that kind of thing out loud. Referees canβt be allowed to sit comfortably.
Scienza gets it and we love him for it, especially in a squad not known for battling. I thought the ref was inconsistent - not to anyoneβs benefit - but it felt like a lottery as to which way he was going to go on seemingly straightforward decisions.
Fair play - lies, damn liesβ¦.
π
You should probably read what I said, before you reply mate!
It comes down to how you define dominate. Possession, territory or chances? They threw the ball into our box a lot but there werenβt many save that had to made.
π Glad youβve enjoyed those five league games, Colin! Any other games in that time? #happytohaveanibble
Terrible goal to concede. Shouldβve seen the game out, but Leoβs goal and celebration were fantastic. We werenβt great but we were good enough to have won. #SaintsFC
Itβs coming up 20 years since I completed Half Life 2 Ep 2. I now have no idea what happened - but I can remember it was a cliff hanger and am still annoyed thereβs no resolution.
Iβve spent this morning morbidly watching the MTV channels close down and the final songs played were:
MTV Music - Video Killed the Radio Star (Buggles)
Club MTV - Donβt Stop the Music (Rihanna)
MTV 90s - Goodbye (Spice Girls)
MTV 80s - Together in Electric Dreams (Oakey and Moroder)
Although I'm at work I can see Back to the Future 3 is on TV - which reminds me of one of my favourite things I've ever written, back when I was at the Echo:

Iβm watching with a mate from Cork and fully intend to exude nothing but nonchalance while screaming inside.
I've finally discovered how to bond hydrogen and oxygen in a chain: HO-HO-HO.
It's a Christmas molecule.
Under Tonda the xG must swing dramatically from first half to second.
There is no way you can guess how the thread that ends in this instant classic begins.
Youβre right - but surely best to have this brutally exposed now with best part of two years to try and address rather than have results mask problems that could be exposed in more consequential circumstances.
Iβm happy to take an 11 point loss to the world champions in those circumstances. Weirdest match Iβve seen in years. #iresa
βOff your feet 19β roars the ref. Despite both being firmly planted on the ground. #iresa
