The Wait Could Finally Be Over For Analogue's Much-Delayed FPGA N64. (Repost)
Occasionally Iβll watch video reviews to gauge a purchase or check channels like Worth A Buy etc.
But ultimately I only do that for some games.
I typically watch reviews on certain channels just because I like that channelβs content, not to actually use the review as part of my decision
Well.. itβs nearly here

Still play it regularly, itβs a really nice βzenβ game. Works on W11 too with some tweaking and you can grab the files from abandonware (which I had to after the retail CD version just wonβt work whatever I do)

Looking forward to starting this later tonight in bed on my Steam Deck
Bit of Sellotape and that tapes going to have Melrose Place, Cell Block H & the first 6 minutes of a Coronation Street episode on it
After a lifetime of the big N ignoring the Virtual Boy and pretending that it never existed, that was a surprise
Thats a decent secret santa gift mate! Very good
Is that the one from TikTok shop?
I used to host it on my Gaming PC & have players connect to my external IP, but now its just really nice having set it up as a VM, Cloudflare Tunnel and a dedicated subdomain
Highly recommend, enjoy!
I also plan on grabbing another Mini PC then Iβll be able to spin up a DMZ Server and segregate the internal Network. Just to make things neater.
Honestly best hobby Iβve had in a long time
Followed by getting some addressable LED strips and an ESP so I can whip up some cool status lights, maybe slap a RAG status scheme so if the lights are Green, all metrics are good, Amber if theyβre low & Red if theyβre critical
Next step is to find a decent Enclosure & I can move 2x 3.5β 3TB HDD from the Gaming PC to the Homelab, then Iβll switch from Plex streaming to a nice low wattage JellyFin VM
Also looking at getting a couple cheap high capacity SSDs to fit into the HPs for extra scalability
I may have gone a bit overboard with my
#HomeLab, bought a 10 inch 6U enclosure
2 HP Prodesk G3 Minis, 1 on each of the bottom shelves & a TP-Link Switch on the next shelf up
The PCs are in a Proxmox Cluster
AdGuard VM

Docker LXC (for #Minecraft)
Home Assistant VM
This is really cool to see/read, thank you for sharing
Iβve got 2 of these HP EliteDesk G3 Mini computers on their way to me.
Canβt wait to Install Debian and Dual Boot them, theyβll Iβll spin up Proxmox on them and get a real #Homelab together
