This is out of my scope but some surgeons want their cases to be technically easy. It may be worthwhile to dig deeper to find out if it’s *really* about recurrence risk. I apologize for giving unsolicited advice BTW.

Surgeon here. I work with general surgeons who have strict weight requirements and others who do not. Consider a second opinion?
