I agree with that sentiment but where were they when the refineries closed under Morrison. Twiddling their thumbs and doing nothing.

Unfortunately, he has already bred and had a whinge fest about how hard it is very young males in Australia.
I predict that Canavan, the anti-Socialist noted for his hypocrisy, will propose another handout similar to the Howard-Costello baby bonus. And yes everyone knows what kind of babies the far right prefer.
What a surprise Matt Canavan is a hypocrite.
Canavan is the consummate opportunist and hypocrite: a staunch Catholic who supports Trump; a tree hugging wind farm hater who ignores environmental issues; a pseudo intellectual who quotes wobbly facts to deny climate change; and a farmerβs friend whose first priority is coal and gas.
Awful man.
Perhaps the climate denying, conservative Christian views of Alex Antic and his Liberal mates arenβt so palatable after all.
But hey, he loves koalas, hates wind farms, but loves new coal mines destroying koala habitat.
Insincere and hypocritical. Thatβs our Matt.
Having said that, good snake education for children and adults alike is very valuable.
I agree, unless they are supervised by a professional snake handler. Non-venomous pythons can give you a nasty bite and weakly and mildly venomous species occasionally cause an allergic reaction and rarely anaphylaxis, as I recently learnt from the very informative local snake ID group here in CQ.

Ok where are all the koala lovers, like Matt Canavan and local LNP members, who made a such a song and dance about certain wind farms in Central QLD?
In 1998 QLD election, eleven One Nation MPs were elected. By the next election there were three and the following election there was one. They were an incompetent bunch of morons.
Isnβt it just too little, too late
And they already went through a couple of days of extreme heat a couple of weeks ago.
Same mayor and the same council that stalled an EV charging project on the coast and then tried to get it going again. The spineless moron of a mayor must have had a few of the local whingers in his ear again.
I canβt even imagine pharmacies doing that in Australia. On top of everything else you have to contend with over there, this is the pits.
Minns doesnβt want the public to know he was more than willing to go hand in hand with the SFF to weaken gun laws.
And he is responsible for law and order in NSW not the PM.
I donβt know how booing the PM and politicizing the shooting helps the Jewish community. If anything, they will lose empathy and the goodwill of the Australian community.
I donβt why you have reposted this. The SFF in this context stands for the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers party that wish to weaken the gun laws in Australia.
Minns is trying to cover up
NSWβs weak as water gun laws and the fact he was ready to cut a deal with the SFF only months ago. So yeah blame the protesters.
One of the worst states has been NSW where the shooters, fishers, and farmers were cuddling up to Minns only a couple of months ago. So while the LNP are not good on these issues, neither is Labor.
Labor has governed QLD far more than LNP since the late 80s. The LNP hasnβt changed the gun laws since they came to power in 2024. Whether they will play nice remains to be seen but up until now the federal government has been hands off.
Wasnβt it only a month or two ago Minns was cosying up to the shooters and fishers lot. The weak gun laws might have a lot more to do with massacre than the marches.
From what Iβve seen of pig shooters on the western downs QLD, they protect the breeding stock while wrecking the joint. So a lousy excuse to keep guns.
Australia had the βgold standardβ on gun control. The Bondi beach terror attack may force it to confront its surging number of weapons

I leave feedback every time I visit the new website. I ***** hate it, particularly the radar. Why canβt we have the old map so I can flick from one radar to another to check what is happening elsewhere. I hope it improves by the time reg.bom.gov.au is scrapped.
I like them, providing they arenβt overcooked.
One of the nicest tress in central QLD and elsewhere. Always sad to see them cleared for whatever reason.
It should be noted that the CEO pictured only started the job this month. The previous CEO who served from 2016-2025, is now leading the Gladstone Ports Corporation. The new guy inherited a sh*t show.
β¦. started earlier this month. He inherited almost a decade of mismanagement, poor guy.
