Fuel has jumped 10p a litre here and is currently £1.36. Its still to cheap as people are driving everywhere, idling and wasting fuel.
Adding 2p as increased fuel duty won't make a blind bit of difference to them.

I find this article persuasive. Since 2018 I have worked with Jewish Green to keen Green members safe and ensure the party cannot to be falsely accused of antisemitism.

None of the Jewish members who are opposing this motion support the actions of the Israeli govt & all support Palestinian rights.
This is a summary of the problems with the motion. It was jointly produced by senior experts from 2 institutions working on antisemitism. The authors have chosen anonymity to avoid being targeted with abuse.
Calling for the elimination of a sovereign UN member state through armed struggle (which, after October 7, undoubtedly includes terrorism against civilians) would place the Green Party beyond international law.
Refusing to engage either the IHRA or JDA definitions of antisemitism, while also promoting a false, ahistorical, account of what the word “antisemitism” means, leaves Jews with no internal protections. [Note: 2 references to these definitions have been ruled OoO, but other references remain]
Ironically, the motion insists that racism is structural & defined by impact, but if it became policy it would have a profoundly negative structural impact on Jewish members of the party.
The motion would potentially leave any party member who believes that Israel should exist as part of a two-state solution vulnerable to disciplinary measures & condemned as a racist. "This has been passed to the Serco management team so they can investigate & take appropriate disciplinary action. I have asked to be updated and will share any feedback I receive."
