Supporting GenAI is a right-wing position.

Yes, really.

AI data centres poison the environment, disproportionately affect low-income areas, and are owned and operated by technofascists. GenAI directly benefits the owning class while physically harming workers and pushing them out of their jobs.

Democratizing the arts looks like universal income, low-barrier grants for both emerging and working artists, well-funded municipal arts & recreation programs, vibrant third spaces, and a well-funded public school system with progressive curriculum.

Not a free pass for corporate-owned slop engines.

You can look at the Epstein files and conclude that only bad people have billions of dollars, but I think it’s also possible that having billions of dollars cauterizes your humanity

2026 Trans Girl Scouts To Order Cookies From! This year, consider ordering your Girl Scout cookies from a trans girl scout to make their day!

Hey everyone!

Huge news! Our trans girl scout list has sold a total of 146,000 boxes as of today!

But MANY trans girl scouts only have 20, 30, 40 boxes sold.

I just resorted our list to put those on the top.

Go get your girl scout cookies and make a trans kid's day!

βœ‚οΈ Yesterday I finally responded to @agakowalska.bsky.social’s challenge to make a collage from a single piece of packaging. I present to you a green (tea) woodpecker, made from a big Yorkshire Tea box. It was fun and I’ll be rooting through our recycling bin for more materials later on ♻️

Ok, success with this recipe from 1969.

Now we can try and make it vegan by replacing the eggs!

Seems like a good moment for a 3rd attempt at making Yorkshire Puddings, this time with eggs.

A hand holding a small section of a miniature stone wall, painted and textured to look like old weathered limestone blocks. Green stuff glued to the corner represents moss, while the 3D print layer lines kind of look like the bedding and striations seen on actual limestone rocks.

Anyway, here’s a test piece for a larger model I’m making that’s secretly an excuse for me to play with stone textures, green stuff, and trying to replicate centuries worth of weathering with paint.

After months of putting it off (because I was worried I’d screw it up), Hoosier door making is finally happening!

After pasta, you should be given a surprise slice of garlic bread… because I don’t have to will power to just save garlic bread for later

She sees your fandom as affirmation, your money as funding for the harm she causes to trans people.

It doesn't matter how you feel about her work, whether it was a formative touchstone or not. If you still buy the merch or hype up Harry Potter, you are complicit.

Rainy autumn days are for cycling to the bakery and only getting 50% drenched.

Pros: Can jump pretty high, have feather fall, claws!

Cons: people keep picking you up because you’re just a baby! Oh my goodness look at him, he’s just a baby! Oh my-

It's Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) migration season in Texas. At least 90% of all southward migration passes through Texas, either along the coast, or through central Texas.

They'll overwinter in Mexico, then return.

Let's talk about the utter weirdness of generational migration.

A rare practical project from me. I live in a building with ~16 units and we all share 2 washers/2 dryers. Very annoying to go all the way down to basement just to find out they're in use. So I'm putting together a low maintenance, non-invasive monitoring setup we can all use 🧡
