No literally I don’t wanna be kicked out of the WOT fandom but I roll my eyes reading the books all the time and George never let me down like that.

The x scenes were awful (like the word choices 🤮) but he slayed so hard other than that

Like seasons 1&2 of WOT were not lighthearted but not rlly scary either and this season is doing so good with both. Like everyone is fighting for their lives and our Tanchico peeps are 💃🏽🍻🎆 and I love it

This is so valid. I prefer the darker tone of ASOIAF (WOT books feel too YA for me) BUT my god ASOIAF was so grim and the show had a huge opportunity to inject some lightness and said nahhh. Szn 3 WOT is doing such a good job of upping the scary factor AND the fun
