Don't assume that it means the climate is similar - altitude, proximity to the coast and ocean currents have a big influence.
Rabbit Island?
I had one and left it behind by mistake when I moved. It had just flowered for the first time. The only time I have seen the garden since it was totally neglected and completely overrun with weeds. I haven't been able to find one since.
