Here's my review for Love Eternal. It's a tough precision platformer that stays with you after it ends.

My latest review is for Ratcheteer DX. It has some very enjoyable moments but some of the platforming was just a little too annoying at times
The likes of Spiked only want us from minority backgrounds to integrate to a specific point, where we are nothing more than a serving class with no representation. This faux outrage of division for being inclusive is ridiculous.
I'm going to be a Sujimon master!
The latest game I have on the go from my backlog is Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth. I'm going to spend so much time just diving into the side activities.
Videogamer used to be one of my go to sites a long time ago. To see it become an AI slop factory is a shame to see. This is why it is important to support game news and review outlets. Whatever site you're a fan of share their work and support them financially if you can.
I may have to add that to my to play list then.
You don't need to tend to a farm, run a cafe, or lounge on an island for a game to be cosy. Riding on a speeder, searching for treasure, and eating at street stalls is cosy too, which is why Star Wars Outlaws is a cosy game.
My profile banner has changed to reflect the current game I'm playing. Back in Osaka with Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Fun fact, this time last year I was actually in Osaka.
At TheSixthAxis we've been pouring our love of games into our work for 18 years, and we've been lucky to remain independent all that time. If you like or have ever liked any of the work we have done please consider tipping us on Ko-fi. Ideally we want to be totally reader supported.

My MIO: Memories In Orbit review is up. It is engaging, beautiful, and frustrating at times. It's also going to be one of the most memorable games of the year.
I've decided after my current review obligations are done I'm going on a review hiatus. I need to rediscover playing games for fun and not for work.
My first review of 2026 is up and it is for 3D platformer Big Hops. A charming game though the experience was not without technical issues.
2026 is going to be the start of my sartorial era.
@aransuddi.bsky.social has checked out Aethermancer, the roguelike creature collector RPG that is currently in early access.

@aransuddi.bsky.social has played and reviewed Death Howl. While he appreciates the narrative the gameplay didn't quite meet expectations.

@aransuddi.bsky.social spent some time with @ninedotsstudio.bsky.social playing Outward 2 and talking about how this sequel expands on the original. Simply, it's the Outward experience a lot of you enjoyed.

Here's my Duskpunk review, an RPG with dice roll mechanics. It's in a similar vein to Citizen Sleeper so if you enjoyed that you'll probably enjoy this.
Xenopurge is a game that caused me no end of tension while playing it, and it was great.
I've been playing Football Manager games for a lot of years. While FM26 is the start of a new era, it won't be remembered as one of the best entries.
Legacy of Cain. A remake of Legacy of Kain but starring the French special forces robot from Binary Domain.
@aransuddi.bsky.social has been getting stuck into Football Manager 26. While the full review isn't ready yet, here are his thoughts so far.

"Once Upon a Jester is a surprising game for me and I do recommend it, especially if you are looking for something comedic and that is only a few hours long." That's @aransuddi.bsky.social's view of the improvised play game Once Upon A Jester.

This is grim. There just aren't enough of us writing about games, and even fewer who will take the time to bring attention to smaller games. It isn't good for the industry.

My Lumo 2 review is now up, coming 9 years after my Lumo review. Have a read if you're interested in the game.

I'm now replaying Binary Domain and it has some great ideas around AI, though some of the script hasn't aged well.
I still hold onto a little hope that RGG Studio will make a sequel.
"Keeper captures the essence of Double Fine, packaged in a heartfelt and surreal world where you never quite know what will happen next." @aransuddi.bsky.social has reviewed Double Fine's Keeper. Find out his thoughts at the link.
