Neither and both - one is content with a very limited (some might say cruelly stifling) life and can't let go of his friend, the other finds the island life unbearable to the point of self-mutilation in an attempt to get away. At least the sister escapes - the only bright spot in a tragic story.

I'm going to make time today to put together a new 'flowers' greetings card pack. These three will all be in there.
All containing my favourite flowers.
Watch this space. #womensart

You know the best way to kill AI? Don't use it. Don't buy it. Don't share it. Don't give the people who use it your labour or your money.

A light and happy read this week: 'The Other Bennet Sister' by Janice Hadlow. The story of the largely disregarded Mary Bennet, showing her in a more sympathetic light and seeing the events of 'Pride and Prejudice' and its aftermath through Mary's eyes.

When a government goes after a company and threatens to burn it down because they won't let their product be used for nefarious reasons says something chilling about that government.πŸ—½

Read everything - as much as you can. The classics, modern novels, non-fiction, light reads, graphic novels - whatever catches your eye. Your reading experience as a whole will be unique, and out of that and your life experiences will come your own unique voice.

holds nothing,
and so it holds
the world.
No path is set.
Walk where you will,
the horizon is a gift
with no strings.
