My desk at work has a shelf that's like maybe 12ish inches tall with a counter top. The counter holds our POS, business cards, some tissues, etc.

Why is it that only male customers seem to like leaning on it so they can loom over me?

TLDR: my grandmother passed away on Friday, I am ok, now just having to plan for travel.

When you reach that weird logical stage of grief where you have to consider things like: Make sure you don't pack any shirts with ghosts, blood, skeletons, or death for the funeral weekend... Might be in bad taste.

Positives of my new job:

Downside:

So weird adjusting my brain to knowing I start work next week. Gotta plan snacks and lunch stuff to bring, I need to buy pants that aren't leggings, find my old lock in case I have a locker again, gotta get up early again (not 5:30am at least), but also.... Yay money!
