For a person that felt like an alien dumped on earth for most of of their life, being diagnosed as neurodivergent and then find out that you are actually 100% predictable is hella weird.

But then I went and looked back at that jumper at roughly the same stage as yours is, and it looked like absolute crap 😂
The stitches were everywhere, it looked corrugated in parts 🤦♀️

The jumper I’m talking about (sorry I couldn’t find a better photo of the stick density but you can see it if you zoom in. The blue was malabrigo silkpaca lace (3 strands together) and the grey was Coopknitts Socks Yeah! Which I’m pretty sure was a superwash. It did slip about terribly especially on the moon phases, but I tweaked it before blocking and it turned out ok. If your pattern won’t allow you to go down in gauge, maybe double your strands or hold with a strand of mohair or suri? But all of this was to say, yes it’s possible, but stitch density is important. Hope it goes well!
I hate to ask, but did you do a swatch and wash it? Cause that’s the best indicator of how it’s going to turn out.
I did do a colourwork jumper with SW sock yarn and a silk/alpaca mix yarn. It turned out well, but it was at a tighter gauge which I think was key - see the alt text on the pic.
I swear I looked, I even took off my slippers.

I’ve had some success with untwisting and gently tugging the overly thick bits, but I’ve never tried it on a yarn with so many plies. I hope you win yarn chicken though🤞

Yeah, they’re doing good things (the party, not particularly the leadership)
They’re tackling the pressing concerns of water & trains etc.
And they make noises about climate and helping women & children, but it’s like they forget their needs the moment they’re not reminded to centre them.
Doomed.
Except their type of ‘working men’ no longer exist in great numbers. No more miners or shipbuilders etc.
Work for most has vastly different concerns now that they seem incapable of addressing. Either bc of lobbying’s grip or lack of insight. Zero long term vision too.
I feel like they’re doomed.
Seriously beginning to think that Labour have never moved on from being a white working men’s party.
They’re NOT the party for women, they consistently implement policies that harm them.
They’re not for LGBTQIA+, or minorities or even just people seeking education either.
