Setting the sun directly behind, closer to either sunrise or sunset, brightness all the way down and contrast all the way up, clear weather. It's mainly trial and error, I recommend going to a beach for a cleaner background or a high cliff

Once you get through act 1 you definitely start to get the feel for it more

I can see it working pretty good now seeing Max merging the timelines, they could pull ones in from our playthroughs. Though certain choices definitely will differ considering what happens, if they even get the opportunity to show up at all
