Well not a mollusc but a mollusc made product.
#pearls can form as a response to an intruder, a parasite a sand grain etc. I believe this is a #boroque pearl
So here is one more reason to appreciate cool molluscs
Moon snails typically hunt infaunal prey which makes me think that this abnormally placed drill hole may have something to do with it... Also the shell is highly inequilateral...

Here is an interesting situation. So this noetiid clam, #Shelldonella lateralis, byssally attached living under rocks/crevices, has been drilled by a #moon snail.
