4 weeks to go until mat leave and I'm not thriving anymore!
Today was PSHE SCITT training delivery day and I loved it, despite my trepidation about it being online!
Spent the morning planning PSHE training for the latest SCITT cohort - feels so good to be back working in this space ๐ #pshe
Updated the bio - not Head of MFL anymore now my colleague is back from mat leave. It's a relief to take one of the hats off and brilliant to be back fully in pastoral, but HOD was a nice pace change and good to remember how to lead different areas. Onwards now towards my own mat leave! ๐ฑ๐คฐ๐ผ
It's been a fab weekend of birthday celebrations, seeing old friends and getting Christmas ready ๐ซ Busy week ahead, but a full weekend off work has definitely helped me to decompress and feel more ready ๐
The cat doesn't believe that work should be done today. I am powerless to argue. He wins.
Teaching is the best job in the world. The kids are just wonderful ๐
It's the spam follows that I can't cope with and the sexual harassment, it's absolutely ridiculous.
Ugh Twitter is so completely gross now I just cannot ๐คฎ But I'm not sure I have it in me to build a following on a new platform... I just don't want to lose the education connections though ๐ What a pickle.
My toxic trait is that if I spend too much time in my house I either want to sell it or decorate it. Have gone for decorating on this occasion and I'm a broken woman... ๐ฉ๐ผโ๐จ
I reckon "holidays" in teaching should just be called "life admin weeks" - far more accurate!
The BEST time of year ๐

Definitely something in this. Hard to ask people to โadapt the (centrally resourced) curriculumโ if they have weak skills and low experience of planning lessons.
Whilst I'm unconvinced that I need another social media platform, I am convinced that Twitter and #edutwitter as it once was is dead, so I'm willing to give it a go! โ๐ผ
