I really don't even know why. Abby had been eating prescription food for the last few months so I wasn't even getting her food there anymore.
Tucker has been refusing to go near anything that smells like Abby. He also won't let anyone touch her stuff. I went to Pet Valu today to get him a couple of toys that don't smell like his sister. I walked into the store and immediately started crying.
Today made it 45 minutes before I started crying. This is progress.

It's been 24 hours. The skin on my face is wrecked from so much crying. It still feels surreal.
I didn't know it was physically possible for my body to produce so many tears. I don't know if I've ever cried so much in my life. Why did I have to go to therapy to learn to let myself start feeling things? That was stupid of me.

Our baby has crossed over.
Abby was surrounded by her people and her brother in her final moments. She was so incredibly loved.

Nothing could have prepared me for the profound sadness of saying goodbye to my Abby today. I thought I had more time. I wanted one more cold foam, one more hijacked meeting, one more everything. I am grateful she got to go surrounded with love and family. She will be deeply missed.

It's handy that I started learning the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 speedrun because it means she'll get to see her favorite game from start to finish again.

Fun luck playing Pokémon LeafGreen. One of my first battles, my Bulbasaur gained 69 experience points. Then one of the first Pokémon I caught was a Pikachu and I only needed to use 2 balls to get it!
