Thank You for your thoughtful and kind words. I ever knew my Dad’s brother, Irvin-my uncle. Sadly, my Dad passed away when I was 17. He never talked about his service in the war. He was on a battleship in the Pacific. Thanks for listening!
My dad would have said the same thing. He survived WW11, sadly his favorite brother was killed at Okinawa.
