Your right it lost wars in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq and is the only military to use atomic weapons. Its requires so much of your budget you can’t provide healthcare to all your citizens. So it is unique.

Guy Rodgers is doing terrific work getting this to light. What is striking is one historian’s declaration in 1998 that this was myth ( based on official CSDM documents and not on lived experience) was enough to shut down all discussion. Myths die hard here.

The legislation speaks for itself but the journalists framing of the issue is appalling. In Quebec society wearing a scarf in a public space is considered obstinate. Who is this journalist?
