Everything else about the funeral was perfect. He would have been proud.

If all of this wasn’t bad enough, there was a child at the funeral. Dad’s coworker brought one of her daughters.
“Mike” stared at her the whole time. Men like that don’t change and I sure as fuck won’t give him a chance. I’ve blocked every account of hers I could find.
Normally I don’t respond when my mom messages me (on any of her 10+ Facebook accounts) but I had to say something.
I’m beyond pissed off. The fact that I turned out ok with this monster raising me is a miracle.
I hate my mom. I don’t use that word lightly, but I truly hate her.

Thank you Em. This week has been hell but I know he would be proud. I did get to see him one last time before he got cremated, and I told him I would keep making him proud.
I found out today at the funeral that my mom is now married to a pedophile, and they showed up.
Yes my mom brought a registered sex offender to her dead ex-husbands funeral. She’s done a lot of awful things during my life but this is low even for her. I’m beyond pissed.

Funeral overall went well. It was beautifully done and more people showed up than I expected.
Family and friends I hadn’t seen in a while showed up and many people brought flowers, including my therapist.
I’m beyond happy with how everything turned out, with one major exception.
I don’t because then I forget what their real names are. 😅
Online you have the whole world full of amazing people to become friends with. IRL you’re limited to people in your local area and let’s face it, some people live in better places than others.
I love my online friends. I can be 100% myself around them
Sorry for all the depressing posts but this is hitting me hard. On top of dealing with depression all my life infertility has hurt me. I just want to be a dad and at this point it likely will never happen.
Even if it does, they won’t meet grandpa, on either side since her dad passed in 2018.
Thought I’ve had all week.
I never got to meet my grandpa. He passed before I was born. I always told myself my dad would get to meet his grandkids, and was looking forward to that moment when we started trying…in 2015.
The funeral is today and I’m in my feels about everything. 😭

It is and once I found out who did this I’m pressing charges. This shit has my blood boiling and this isn’t a time to fuck with me.
Even more crazy, door was open when I got there. I showed up an hour after he was reported dead.
So someone showed up, grabbed specific items, then left. That’s been one of the many things I’ve had to deal with this week.
We have our suspicions of who did this and thats been reported to the cop.
I’m the only family member with a key, and his current caretaker didn’t do it since she’s helping me find the person as well.
That only leaves former caretakers left who somehow found out he died. This is so fucked.
