Wrapping up a wonderful collection trip to Puerto Rico! Collected lots of egg masses in Culebra with the Caro group and visited Flamenco beach, hung out in Farajdo and Icacos for a couple days, and ended the trip in San Juan. Fruitful collections in all sites and snuck in bioluminescent kayak trip.

2025 Chemistry Awards ceremony was a huge success for the Mevers Lab. Congrats to all the award winners. Graduate students, Rose (teaching award), Karla (research award), Paige (research award) and Benjamin (Shimadzu award) and undergraduate students, Matty (ACS organic) and Amy (academic award).
We have had a big two weeks in the Mevers lab
1. Paige successfully defended her PhD!
2. Both Joe and Arden passed their prelim exams!
3. Our latest publication is out! This one features @BTBChem with collaborations with @AjoFranklinLab and Hassoun lab!
