So my one FT in GW 30 was going to be Wood to Braut and then giving him the armband. Now, I probably will transfer in Isak (yaaawn) at a point when I really need to be chasing points. Can't wait for this season to end.

An even more proactive announcement on DGW25 than we anticipated suggests the GW34 blanks might be more likely to come forward to GW33 midweek, and the same logic with GW37 FA cup final clashes coming forward to GW36 midweek instead of pushed back to GW37 midweek.

VVD/LIV defense has been useless lately, as has my double ARS defense. Big reason I'm stuck down at 800 k.
Another big reason is no Chris Wood. He's coming in for the SOU game and I'm currently very tempted to Captain him.
Wolves just lost 0-3 at home to NFO so I can absolutely see Isak do a number on them in Newcastle. It'll be almost a relief not going Salah or Palmer after so many weeks/months.
....so wouldn't go there. The rest of the fwds don't tempt me at all.

I already have Jackson and Pedro and wouldn't recommend any of them. Chelsea seem to have copied Man City's fall from grace (wonder why, they don't have any central players injured like City)....

Just out of curiosity, did you consider Huijsen? I was gonna go Kerkez myself, but it seems Huijsen's minutes are pretty secure for quite some time, and I could really use the 0.3 I'd be saving.
0 from 0 players so shouldn't complain, but all the players that could really hurt my rank scored so there's that. This is really turning into a miserable FPL season.🥴
That's a shame cause I really want in on the LIV defense. Ideally, I'd get TAA back. I sold him a few GWs ago to fund the core of Salah, Saka and Palmer + double ARS defense and a viable supporting cast, but if he goes off I need to have a rethink.
My plan for next GW was Collins>Gomez, but against NEW Gomez was subbed off for TAA @ 67' while Quansah played 90 so now I have a problem b/c not enough funds for TAA or VVD.
Any Liverpool supporters out there that can pitch in on Gomez vs Quansah?

Not sure I understand what you mean by increased player retention?
Surely such a chip would be played in a DGW by the vast majority of FPL managers so probably means the other chips (except WC) would be much more spread out over the season.
....discovered Only Murders In The Building recently and really like it, mainly because of the quirky characters.
What's your take on Slow Horses? For me that's hands down the best series I've watched in years. Only discovered it a couple of months ago.
I also liked Shogun but my impression was a bit tainted by watching the original series (really good) back in the 80s (yes, I'm that old).

Did you go Solanke>J. Pedro to free up funds, or do you just like JP better as a pick? Reason I'm asking I'd that the solvers I checked both wanted me to get Solanke this GW. Btw, I did Isak>JP myself.

Don't think I wanna sell Jackson, even when I have to bench him for the inevitable 5th yellow. Chelsea as a team and he as a striker are just on another level this season. And, having the mid trifecta I mentioned before coupled with double ARS defense makes it difficult to keep players....
Jackson and Cunha. A midfield of Salah, Palmer and Saka (seemingly emerging as a bit of an FPL 🦋 template?) and with double ARS defense is a core I'm working towards.
