Be proud of yourself for surviving what you don't talk about

Behind every strong person, there is a story that gave them no choice.

There is so much that people have experienced & survived (abuse, #trauma, personal #struggles, etc)

The invisible #damage, scars & self-healing that people have gone through often go unspoken

The storms & situations people have faced, overcome & survived...we are MUCH #stronger than people realize

You are not the pain that happened to you. You are the person who survived it.

Often, people who criticize your life are usually the same people who don't know the price you paid to get where you are today.

We are NOT the
- #trauma we experienced
- #damage done to us
- #pain that was caused
etc

Those were bad chapters that help tell part of our story, but they don't determine who we are or tell our whole #story

The #price we paid was costly & the #strength it took to survive #adversity was incredible

Some of my relatives only watch Fox news... as soon as they start talking about what's being aired on Fox... I tune it out or find an excuse to leave the room

A lot of Americans thrive on hate, and those people realized that trump hated those people too, so they connected with him through the common interest of hating DEI and all the progress made over the last 243 years (womens rights, education, etc)

The mentality: " #boys need men in their life to teach them how to be a man," is total BS

There are MILLIONS of STRONG #moms who play BOTH roles (mom/dad) & their #sons turn out to be REAL men/gentleman

The patriarchy isn't superior to the #matriarchy

Moms ALSO know what it takes to be a real man

The power of stupidity, ignorance, lack of critical thinking, unwilling to question lies, refusing to research, seek out truth, and choosing to trust the wrong people

They listened to sweet words & fake promises but didn't bother to think for themselves...

I had the same issue...my blood father was a cheater, misogynistic, "authoritarian"/abusive (CSA/DV), self-centered & only cared about control & was completely dishonest...He failed to teach me about life and the crucial skills a child would need

I learned MOST of it from women & trial/error

I was raised for half of my life mainly by a single mom, 2x aunts & 1x grandmother

My blood father was abusive & damaging with his teachings about women & life

I'm PROUD of the man I am today THANKS to the women in my family who raised me to be a better man than my sperm donor father could ever be
