This both made me smile and is kind of a ridiculous protection against wrath effects and like, general combat? i love it.

There is just something about SRS games and those that inspired them or are derived from them (Alshard FF, Arianrhod, Octopath Traveler TRPG, Monotone Museum, etc etc) that make my brain excited. The character sheets are nice. I like a 2d6 roll to resolve actions. They’re cool!

We've lost the plot of where western fantasy came from.

Almost every piece of fantasy writing that inspired D&D was explicitly written as anti-war and most were anti-industrialization.

Misinterpreting Japanese culture is one thing but misinterpreting your own is peak loser behavior.
