Exactly. The Muslims I know just want to follow their own religion in peace. Just like a lot of Christians and Jews I know. None of us wants to impose our religions on anyone else - except people like Mike Johnson and the rest of the Nazi white nationalists in power.

One of the arguments for continuing to vote for mediocre Dems has been “but they have good committee assignments” - how has that worked out for us lately? Having Quigley in good committees hasn’t helped my district or the country bc he votes to support Israel and military spending.

At a polling place in Chicago, I had a woman (not MAGA) ask me if I was concerned about “all the Mosques in NY and in the US wanting to impose Sharia Law.” It was all I could do not to laugh in her face. But I told her that is not happening & she shouldn’t ever listen to whoever told her that.

Personally, I don’t want to find out if will help Dems or not … I know it will hurt Native Americans and other marginalized groups.
