I really don't get the drama in the AI hardware sector due to DeepSeek... If they really can achieve that increased computational efficiency, people will just use that to build larger models, not to buy less hardware.

I try to bake bread every week to obtain some kind of “muscle memory”. Here was last week’s #sourdough.
I left Twitter right after its change in management... don't regret that decision for a second, but I miss the communities that I was part of there. While I was away, I retired from LANL, so I'm only an #HPC spectator these days, but still enjoy seeing the news.
