Just started watching Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency coz I couldn’t be bothered to fight the algorithm anymore and just picked something Netflix recommended.
Now wondering what other gems I’ve missed out on because ‘I won’t have Netflix tell me what to watch.’

A short fable about a cat written in the author’s Master of Creative Writing Class. The fable reads: There once was a cat who had been left in a box by the roadside. A kind human found her and gave her a home. At all hours, the cat would meow and lead the human to her bowl—which was never empty. Still, she’d purr and rub against the human’s legs until a few extra morsels were tipped in. Only then would she walk away, without eating, then curl up in a patch of sunlight, and purr. Not hungry. But content. Moral: It is not always need that drives us—it is the memory of going without.

Had to write an animal-inspired fable
in class today…of course I chose a cat.

You are living in my dream, surrounded by a wood full of animals! I am even more in love with Harvey now I know he’s a wild rabbit!
We don’t see many of those here either, they’re classed as an invasive species here so there’s not many about.

Oh my gosh! I love rabbits and Harvey is lovely (Jimmy Stewart movie, right?)
We can’t have pet rabbits here in Queensland, Australia-much to my youngest kid’s outrage so of course she’s obsessed with anything bunny related. I’ll show her Harvey 🙂

My cat’s name does raise a few eyebrows, people sometimes think it’s Gaelic but it’s the name of Doctor Who’s home planet 🙂
