Minneapolis witnessed a horrific attack on our community today and the murder of a beloved neighbor. We are sending love to her family, friends, and loved ones, and will continue to fight for her and everyone protecting our communities.
3. If threatened with arrest! ICE may try to intimidate and threaten you and say you are interfering. Remain as calm and grounded as possible. Driving on public streets and observing in your community is not a crime. Film the entire interaction without pausing.

2. If pulled over or confronted! Agents may lie. Keep doors locked and windows up! Notify others of your location. Record their behavior.
And if you CAN do IC3 Watch, we need you. Here are some safety reminders:
1. Try to be out in pairs when you can! One person can be in role of a communications person and link, and one can record video of any interactions
If you can't do IC3 Watch, there are so many other ways to plug in: Providing rides & groceries for impacted families; fundraising; making hot drinks & food for rapid responders; providing somatic support; interpreting; & so much more.
The toll this occupation is taking on our communities is beyond words. And in these grim times, our safety lies in numbers. So, please, do your best to help your friends, family, coworkers, & neighbors plug in, through defend612.com or elsewhere. And take good care.

One month in and we begin 2026 under occupation. Stand up for our neighbors and community by organizing ICE Watch on your block, joining patrol in your neighborhoods, showing up when a need comes up, and having deliberate conversations with your friends to get them involved!
In 2025 our city came under federal occupation and thousands of neighbors got involved in ICE Watch, Rapid Response, and Mutual Aid efforts across the city. Resolve to begin this year by getting involved!
