Yes I’d like to see them be held to some accountability as in having their business destroyed by lawsuits.
‘Hey’ came before ‘hi,’ and ‘hi' came before ‘hello.’
‘Hi’ is most likely a variant of ‘hey.’
‘Hello’ is not related to either.
Goodbye.
That’s my university baybeeeee
It's genuinely crazy to me that people spend thousands of dollars on Very Breakable dryers in California. I mean it was 100 degrees last week. And very few people live in HOAs where it's declasse or whatever. They beat your clothes up though I concede they do fluff towels better than the sun.
"His stage name wryly reflected the fact that Stalin was sometimes referred to as 'Country Joe' because of his rural background. The word 'Fish' was taken from Mao Zedong, who wrote that revolutionaries 'must move amongst the people as a fish swims in the sea.'"

Gimme an F!.. gimme a U!.. gimme a C!.. gimme a K!.. What's zat spell?! What's it spell? What's it SPELL?!..
Country Joe is dead just when we need the Fish Cheer most.

Democrats may not be able to prevent Mullin's confirmation, but they can certainly turn his track record of offense and stupidity into two days of televised humiliation so spectacular that he is wounded in Trump's eyes from day 1. That is the job.
Del Toro doing the early American novel Wieland about a devout Christian tricked into mudering his family by an itinerant man who ventriloquizes the voice of God.
Kristi Noem is a menace and should have been fired yesterday, but many people have agreements with their partners. "Adultery" is not necessarily a moral flex these days. Let's focus on her actual immorality of mass murder.
things you don't learn in grad school include how to grade the papers of students whose countries of origin your own nation is presently bombing the crap out of.
many a well-off family has a fuck-up uncle who "spent time" in the military and went on to do "public service" work that may or may not have been paid. Some get their shit together, some "volunteer" for public service agencies, some do...not.
so, all the rhetoric about "probability" in next-word choice is routed through a series of built-in flaws. If your grammar/sentences work differently in Farsi, Arabic, Japanese, Hungarian... "probable" links are going to be fluffed. When seeming choices of seeming grammar become actionable, woohoo.
another thing about Claude and OpenAI is that their databases are overwhelmingly English-based. This means a lot of info will be missing, will be heavily Orientalist, or will need to be translated and force-fit into heavily flawed translation systems, in addition to filling in "blanks" in English.
Thank you.
kind of the perfect emblem for Viewpoint Diversity: giving a racist and fascist equal billing with people who fought against those things, because Ideas are Ideas
Wow. During the Cold War a sizable proportion of grad students in fields like aerospace engineering at MIT were not only service members, but writing classified dissertations. In fact classified dissertations became a flash point for anti-Vietnam War campus activism. Wow.
TV and movies had a good run. Back to the only incorruptible medium: photocopied pornographic zines
gee professor, what do you think will happen when you "identify" these "pathological" "adaptations"? Given your understanding/endorsement of racial hierarchy...
hard-wiring of "behavior" into brain "circuits" sounds like old-school eugenics to me. This is the prof who blurted racist stuff & tried to cover up by blaming it on her kid. Bio: "underlying neural circuits guiding social behaviors w the goal of ID-ing beneficial/pathological neural adaptations."
How can any Democrat stay inside the chamber after this kind of xenophobia? What are they even accomplishing by politely subjecting themselves to this?
this sounds like an actual speech somebody worked on, unfortunately, tho it is still 82 unrelated things strung together by force of time passing. Sounds like grandpa got the GOOD drugs tonight, too.
(related, I think Tsuchiya-san is still organizing Eiga nabe, the incubator...with Fukuda Kōji eiganabe.net)
same, I could access the blog, but not the shop, either directly or via the blog. in California.
one tiny step to happiness! especially back archives of Sophisticated Boom Boom. "Female-fronted pop from the past, present, and future; from all over the globe. And the occasional man."
No way, thanks for the heads up!
1988 news article on Jesse Jackson visiting my town to support factory workers in a former family business, maker of Laffy Taffy, bought out by Nestle. He returned in 1996 to support plaintiffs in the largest sexual harassment suit in US history and open supply channels to non-white contractors.
Wow.
I moved my money! A @uofcalifornia.bsky.social faculty initiative to divest our retirement savings from state violence, war, fossil fuels is up and running. It's simple: 1) open your retirement portfolio, 2) move your money into UC's Social Equity Fund!
