It’s not lost on me that both Monster Hunter Wilds and Monster Hunter Stories 3 start with your player character being experienced and established presence in their world.

This series has been around a long time and having self-insert that already knows what they’re doing is a breath of fresh air.

Agreed on the entry point take. I adored the first two games and the beginning of 3 still felt a little overwhelming at first. Having spent a ton more time with it now I think I prefer 3 but 2 is a much better intro to what Stories as a series is.

I’ve been playing the Pokémon TCG for almost two years now, slowly getting better. One of my goals was to find a deck that I could perform well with that centered around Flareon, my favorite Pokémon. Proud to say I just took this Flareon list to 3rd place at a League Cup, meeting my goal in my eyes.

I'm think Fall/Holiday looks like something Zelda in September, lighter/less-traditional fare for October (maybe even Splatoon Raiders, though Splatoon's typically Summer), and then 3D Mario or Fire Emblem for November.

I just love Pokémon so much. Yeah some of the games could be better but I'll also freely admit that I do not care. Pokémon is Pokémon, good or bad.
