I was in a book club where we read a novel about a woman who was always going to the ER because she had anxiety about getting sick and none of us could figure out how this character could afford to go to the ER this muchβ¦then we looked up the author and realized she was Canadian and it made sense
Love that we have somehow reclaimed cartoon frogs???????
My favorite thing about summer is not having to worry about whether I remembered to unplug my space heater
This is correct. Any candidate cynically βtriangulatingβ on trans kids is a non-starter, and now is the time to say so. Thereβs still so much time to advance candidates that DONβT suck.
I think Iβve only been able to hear/understand a total of 10 words during this whole broadcast (and I really donβt think itβs just bc of my hearing loss)
Allison Janney looking fabulous as always
I just said out loud βoh I get it! Itβs the progress flag!β
Oh yeah, I forgot that the audio is always so bad that I can never understand the opening number
Otolaryngology shoutout!
Imagine getting a lifetime achievement award and they relegate it to the pre show
Iβm watching the Tonys despite not having time to learn anything about any shows nominated before tonight, wish me luck
My wearing a mask while grocery shopping is like 90% to avoid getting sick and like 10% to avoid getting recognized by my patients who are at the store at the same time
Haha, I was thinking yesterday that I should check the search trends for raccoon dog and then I forgot! Thanks for providing this info!

I was researching a medical billing thing and I think billing is complicated enough without these websites adding nonsense AI-generated images to the mix
Rep. Laurel Libby, R-Auburn, recently used my second-place finish in the 1,600-meter run, and that of my teammate in the 800-meter run, to malign Soren Stark-Chessa, the trans-identified athlete who finished first. One of the reasons I chose to run cross-country and track is the community: Teammates cheering each other on, athletes from different schools coming together, and the fact that personal improvement is valued as much as, if not more than, the place we finish. Last Friday, I ran the fastest 1,600-meter race I have ever run in middle school or high school track and earned varsity status by my schoolβs standards. I am extremely proud of the effort I put into the race and the time that I achieved. The fact that someone else finished in front of me didnβt diminish the happiness I felt after finishing that race. I donβt feel like first place was taken from me. Instead, I feel like a happy day was turned ugly by a bully who is using children to make political points. We are all just kids trying to make our way through high school. Participating in sports is the highlight of high school for some kids. No one was harmed by Sorenβs participation in the girlsβ track meet, but we are all harmed by the hateful rhetoric of bullies, like Rep. Libby, who want to take sports away from some kids just because of who they are. Anelise Feldman Freshman, Yarmouth High School Yarmouth
this is a letter to the editor from a high school track runner who came in second to a trans girl in a race. her state house rep in maine started talking about it. so she wrote this: www.pressherald.com/2025/05/14/r...
Iβm watching it now and I canβt unhear Kermit the frog singing I Am the One (also, I snorted so hard at βX is a disasterβ)
βWow, it sure would be nice if SOMEONE let my people goβ-Moses being Passover-aggressive

The Stonewall Inn and The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative are outraged and appalled by the recent removal of the word 'transgender' from the Stonewall National Monument page on the National Park Service website. This blatant act of erasure not only distorts the truth of our history, but it also dishonors the immense contributions of transgender individuals - especially transgender women of color - who were at the forefront of the Stonewall Riots and the broader fight for LGBTQ+ rights. The Stonewall Inn released a response to the National Parks Service removing the word transgender from the park outside of the Inn. A great reminder that we have to look after each other
