3. cite absence of evidence as justification for withdrawing care

4. use withdrawal of care to prevent generation of new evidence.

It's what the Reagan administration did to trans folks.

They'll say the "skyrocketing" rates of patient referrals substantially decreased and then use that as a point to argue that it was all a social contagion. All the trans youth just swept under the rug along with evidence of their suicides and self-harm. Just a completely bleak fucking system.

And this shoddy hit job will be used not only to restrict care in the UK, but it will also be used to restrict care around the world. That's what this is all about. Launder the "progressive" reputation of the UK as they completely strip every right of trans people there, including even using the loo
