I was lucky. We caught it at stage one, and I had just 4 heavy doses of chemo, followed by several weeks of radiotherapy.
I know many more are not as fortunate, and suffer far worse than I did, sometimes only to lose the fight.
Today will always be that kind of reminder to me.

Mixed feelings for today.
Obviously it is another Valentine's day that I get to spend with my wonderful and beautiful wife.
But it is also the 7th anniversary of the first session of chemotherapy, and the beginning of a few months of feeling like absolute shite whilst I fought cancer... 1/
I used the arms from the old assault terminators, cut just below the elbow. With careful removal and replacement of the armoured cables under the elbows.

Early Saturday morning (well, 03:00-11:00) we were under a Red Warning for wind.
Our power stayed on just fine.
Last night at approximately 01:00, under a Yellow Warning for wind, our power went out, and it won't be restored until 18:00!
No painting for me today then... 😞
