My Sunday #D&D group brought our Campaign 1 characters back for a "one-shot." Then our DM left us on a cliffhanger, kicking off a level 20 mini-campaign! I've started a journal for this as well. So begins The Journal of Zaraya Dameros: The Death of Sagefall.

To be fair, the characters are barely described at all in TMA. That might be deliberate. My visualizations of them don't really match fanon much, either.

I don't know that I'd say Malevolent is similar to The Magnus Archives, per se, but I can tell you there's a LOT of fandom crossover! I guess you could say it scratches the same itches. 😊

Ah, poor Ilvethi. She did, in fact, betray the party to serve her patron. It didn't go well.

Zaraya, a Tiefling woman dressed in an elaborate purple and grey suit trimmed in gold, holds the hand of her wife Kamaria, a human woman with a heavily scarred face and wearing a blue and silver gown. They stare into each other's eyes with expressions of wonder and affection.

I made a new HeroForge of my previous #D&D character Zaraya and her wife Kamaria, and I'm so proud of how it turned out!

Fun shenanigans happening in my Sunday #D&D game. You know things are getting weird when your character wakes up from a nightmare, and you have to ask the DM if your eye is still there... 😨

On a related note, my warlock's patron is definitely Vecna. 😱

Not sure what's sillier: narrating your activities to your cat as you go about your morning, or discovering you've been describing the process of making coffee, in baby-talk, to no one because the cat has wandered off. 😂

I cannot recommend #Malevolent enough! It is absolutely terrifying and heartbreaking and heartwarming all at once.

That finale fucked me up but good. 😭 Even on multiple relistens with the shock factor gone, it still makes me cry! It's been almost a year since I first heard it, and I am still not okay.
