I think I could do this if I needed to. But it's really the beers that would get me. Strategy wise, I wonder if drinking 6 then try to run off some of that drunk might help? Soaking up some of the booze with the tacos?

What I learned boxing with the blind
The session was a reminder that providing accessibility doesnβt necessarily mean rebuilding from the ground up
When I started losing my vision in my teens, sports was one of the first things to go. They felt inaccessible. Itβs a position that stuck as an adult. But shadowing a boxing class designed specifically for the Blind made me reconsider that stance.

The Beavertonβs Ian MacIntyre reflects on his satire being taken seriously by Time magazine
On a juiced-up Hoekstra quote being seen as believable: βI do think itβs hilarious and also scaryβ
A while back I got to speak to @grahamisador.bsky.social at the Globe & Mail about that time a @thebeaverton.com article got accidentally quoted by Time. Here's that!!

Adding a stop in Laval is going to add time and this route is connecting two places that are relatively easy to commute between. If people donβt use the rail itβll been an easy excuse not to build the rest. Poor planning.

A few months ago @thelocal.to got a promising pitch from a writer with bylines in whole bunch of reputable publicationsβThe Cut, The Guardian, Dwell, Architectural Digest, etc. Then I started investigating. Here's a story about fabulists in journalism's AI slop era. thelocal.to/investigatin...

My girlfriend is worried for me
Graham Isador
Reporter
No clue what to do with my hands at any point during the fifth. When the benches cleared, I started shadowboxing. My girlfriend noted the rest of the time Iβve been βwringing my hands like a wife waiting for her husband to return from sea.β
Been hugely enjoying the live coverage put out by the Globe and Mail team for the Jays games this weeked. This update from @grahamisador.bsky.social made me laugh:
