She was arrested from her job at *major store that operates out of Arkansas and has Mart in their name*. A customer threatened to kill her, and in an attempt to get him to leave, she ran a cart into his car.

Rosemont police were likely the biggest reason the guy that attacked the furry con with gas never got caught.

I have hated Rosemont since the first time I attended MFF (no shade to the con, the location just resonated evil)

I think holding up SDCC in the 00's/10's as the standard really messed people up

(and then more recently, covid happened, so you have a lot more newer people who are going in to this and comparing it to like, a Disney trip and not an event for fans)

It can even feel like that with fan run cons, when they choose to prioritize cool or flashy events over other experiences. Or their sponsor companies take over too much, so half the game room is dedicated to sponsor studio's latest game, for example.
