If anything, the US show is more recent, and therefore less historic. Although they blur more faces, so their witnessing is less precise.
Anyway, I think I'd like to work in an airport xraying suitcases.

QOTD.
Why is the show 'Nothing to Declare' about Australian airport border control on the channel Sky Witness, while the almost identical yet geographically different show 'Airport Security USA' is on Sky History?
And yes, I am still unemployed, thanks for asking.

In Conversation, In Critique - Jamie Woods - Alan Parry In Conversation Jamie Woods doesn’t write poetry for your comfort. He writes because he mustβ€”because the words arrive heavy, vital, unfinished until spoken aloud. β€œI’ve always written: lyrics, reviews, short stories, opening chapters to novels, and poems,” he says. But it’s poetry that stuck. Not for lack of ambition elsewhere, but because it’s the only […]

What happens when the work is actually read, closely? Alan digs deep into Jamie Woods’ latest, challenging the poems and the person behind them.

Right? It's the least taught part of a writing practice. I try and teach it using the hero's path and that sort of thing, but I've never worked it out for myself.
(To be fair, I made two actual humans and I can't tell them what to do.)

Yeah, I normally write the characters and a story emerges. Hasn't happened with this one yet.
Trying to squash them into a storyline doesn't make for a good read. Although if I did that, maybe I'd finish something for once!

Love this quote from @alanparrywriter.co.uk : "For Jamie Woods, poetry is never done. It evolves with context, with time, with each reading. Like a song rearranged, the same poem can carry new weight in a new world."

Logistically though, if they dipped the base in chocolate and hundreds and thousands, the stick would also be covered in them and that would be gross.

Cooly eating a callipo for lunch in the shade of my living room, while people are voluntarily going outside in this weather, and yet somehow I'm the one who genuinely can't get life insurance because I'm too "mentally unstable"...
