History is full of well intended ideas that had disastrous unforeseen circumstances
Trusting a government to scan your kids' eyeballs & create a database of your nation's children for "age verification" purposes is a horrible way to get TikTok off their phone
May I suggest: parenting?

For the most part I agree with this article and am not really a fan of the whole Elf on the Shelf thing. I feel like there are so many more meaningful activities I can spend time on with my students and still have fun. I wouldnβt say, ban it, for others, but for my classroom, itβs a no go. #EduSky
A poem by Langston Hughes titled "Tired". It reads as the following: "I am so tired of waiting, Aren't you, For the world to become good And beautiful and kind? Let us take a knife And cut the world in two -- And see what worms are eating At the rind."
I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.

Every single school should have a library & a librarian, to help every single child find the books that will make them readers, and give them all the lifelong benefits of literacy. Libraries & librarians change children's lives FOREVER!
