Iirc from seeing it up close there is some patterns on the steel closer to the ground but basically yes

Tbf I don’t think it has the same purpose of the Washington one (which I assume is just to make a cool Rome allusion since Augustus celebrated his victory in Egypt by taking home their Obelisks)

To cut a long story short it exists to replace another monument called “Nelson’s Column”, (edit checked, this one is his Pillar, the column is a British one of the same guy) which commemorates a British general and was thusly blown up by the IRA at some point as a result. (Checked, the 60s)

Like wtf is the game even meant to be, Mario but the characters get super hero suits which act just like the power-ups yet are somehow meant to be unique?

But there’s an Ice cream elephant in a generic mediaeval town so it’s obviously real. Not like Odyssey contextualised it’s weirder aspects

And then you have the image of Mario with the comically oversized for the model dry bones - in Neo Bowser City.

It’s so obviously fake AI or otherwise, but at the same time so ridiculous that it’s loops back in on itself and you end up becoming invested in its nothing premise.

Bowser and Juniario in a somewhat pretty if incomprehensible desert. Where would this even play in the game?

Been looking at Super Mario Titans leak material on the way up and omg this shit so fucking funny.

Whether it’s AI generated or hand crafted bullshit I cannot say for certain (mix of both perhaps), but it’s such a funny leak.

Like that one with the Giant Dry Bones appears to be on Neo Bowser City. That’s at best someone playing with models

Not sure if I’ve had it with women necessarily but there’s been several times where I end up on South Park fanart somehow and it takes a good amount of time to realise that’s the case because they’re always drawn in ways that don’t look like the characters
