They know that many people in the US will accept the killing of civilians overseas but will draw the line at high gas prices.
I came to realize that working in legacy media — even when fighting tooth and nail for accuracy and transparency — was to be complicit on some level, exactly because of what you have to sacrifice in order to stay on the inside. This, of course, doesn’t undermine the good work of journalists within these organizations. It just takes far too much effort to make these stories happen.
When some journalists face intimidation, can’t speak up, and are held to a higher standard than their colleagues, something is wrong in the workplace. Newsrooms have to reckon with these failures. www.thekeymagazine.com/p/western-jo...

It’s not disingenuous to point out that the NYT did not run a single front page story of the Minab bombing. You don’t dispute this claim because it’s true. And the story that you reference on your webpage does not attribute blame to US/Israel and frames it as an allegation by “Iranian state media”

Let us state up front: This is an illegal war of regime change perpetrated in concert by the United States and Israeli governments.
Congress, including Democratic leadership who stalled a vote on the War Powers Resolution, is equally culpable in today’s strikes, as are their funders at AIPAC.
We represent groups of workers from Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. Our organizations typically focus on a range of issues, from better workplace protections to the pursuit of environmental justice and the demilitarization of our technology.
This is our first statement together.
At this urgent moment in human history, we call on CWA international leadership, the AFL-CIO, and all relevant labor bodies to demand an end to U.S.-led war and to direct union resources and organizing capacity towards encouraging worker action against the war machine, including against ICE.
