It was a slow month for me. I haven't been able to find books this year that capture my attention. Except Dunk and Egg. I devoured those novellas.

His family was not notified of his release. Police are investigating.

But I'm struggling with how to confront those who aren't online, who don't pay attention to the news & are convinced they aren't affected by what is happening. How do I make my MAGA parents, aunts, and cousins realize what they are supporting directly contradicts their deeply held Christian values.
I've managed to curate an algorithm on the social media sites I use to be mostly friends, family & creators who share my values & outrage at the current regime. I know living in an echo chamber is dangerous, but I would argue that seeing that side of th3 internet is also dangerous for my sanity.
And picking out the photos to release to media. Cause if it's left up to my husband, he's picking, totally choosing something where I look unhinged and feral.

2025 was certainly the year of the audiobook for me, which catapulted my reading to an all-time high of 57 books. A good mix of history, mystery, memoirs, and melancholic Irish American women. I've been using storygraph to track my progress, and I'm excited for some new reading challenges in 2026.
