screenshot from the godot editor. a dictionary is being viewed in the inspector, containing a bunch of variables. next to each value in the dictionary is a little pencil icon that you can click to assign that value a type.
to anyone who knows #godot - probably a stupid question but i can't find it in the documentation: in the editor i can set the type of individual dictionary values by clicking these little pencil icons in the inspector and choosing from the dropdown menu. how do i do this in gdscript?

me, an infamous international jewel thief, squat-waddling under all the chest-high lasers in front of the bank vault: i am but a shadow in the night
i still can't believe thief is basically the only first person stealth game on the market that lets you just walk normally instead of forcing you to crouch everywhere you go because crouching makes you invisible
one of my favourite social media things is when you see someone vagueposting about a discourse you haven't seen a single post about before that. "not to get into today's discourse, but some people on here don't have garam masala on their spice rack and it shows"

An infographic with a dark green background. At the top, large stylized text reads βYOU DONβT KNOW GAMING.β In the center is a screenshot of Albert Wesker from Resident Evil. Below the image, white pixelated text reads: "While initially confirmed to be dead following the ending of Resident Evil 5, plans for Albert Wesker to appear as an easter egg in the Resident Evil 7 reportedly got far into development. However, his appearance was cut short when the team realized they didnβt have the technology to make his hair look greasy enough." At the bottom is the text βYOUDONTKNOWGAMING.BSKY.SOCIAL.β
for a person like me it's really more like Resident Normal 9
watched Beau Is Afraid last night. didn't like it much. gruelling nihilistic torture porn slog through a world inhabited entirely by mean-spirited stereotypes. there's a reason it's been out for three years and the wikipedia page still lacks a Themes section. the stage play scene was okay

yesterday i deleted my patreon account but since then i haven't stopped thinking about how patreon isn't able to delete your patreon account themselves and instead have to route your request through a whole ass separate "data deletion partner" company. what are we even doing here

Nothing is surprising about the US starting another war. Nothing is more dangerous to Earth and mankind at large than the United States and its complete and utter failure to curtail the worst excesses of humanity. The US oligarchy and its influence on global politics must end.
Vincent Canby of The New York Times noted the film's animation was "something of a technical and stylistic triumph" comparable to that of Disney's golden age, but he expressed dismay at the narrative, finding it too complicated and lacking in an "easily identifiable central character". Quote from the Wikipedia page for The Secret of NIMH
if you ever feel stupid just remember that a guy wrote in the actual New York Times that The Secret Of NIMH was so complicated he couldn't figure out who the protagonist was
