Preliminary concept for the Cataclysm expansion of World of Warcraft featuring the dragon Deathwing emerging explosively from the ocean as waves rock the surface. Fire erupts white hot at its mouth, tapering to red and blue at its tip. Burning contrails arc like flares from the water. A massive billowing cloud of smoky orange builds in the background. Water drips from its wings as they spread wide colored like magma between structural ribs. A reptilian fin of the same orange runs underneath its stocky neck.

Baldur's Gate 3 fan comic. "I should have known to leave a trail of sunmelon so you'd get here sooner," Zahne teases Aldiirn while they heft the melon in their hand. The companions watch from a few steps behind. "That's one of Aldiirn's friends!" Wyll points out. "The skulker." Lae'zel recognizes Zahne, but... "I thought that one wore a mask," Astarion squints at them, not only maskless but without their hood up like in every memory Aldiirn shared of them. Aldiirn's face is intentionally blank, mind processing - then he snaps right into a smile. "Zahne! It's been so long I was afraid I wouldn't see you again." "Have some faith!" Zahne puts the melon aside on a crate, clasps Aldiirn's hand and pulls him in, "Of course the absolute would lead us back together!"
