A poem for tonight because I cannot handle the smiles of politicians' who have been aiding this devastation for so long, now acting like they give a crap
Five years ago today I nearly lost my husband. Thanks to the dedication and care of NHS staff, he is still here. If I'd have had to pay for his treatment and hospital stay me and my children would probably be homeless and I would be a widowed single parent. Protect it at all costs! #NHS
Not to be dramatic, but there really are days when I feel scared of the future.
Like, to pick an example at random, today.
What we are witnessing is an assault on the very concept of truth.
The armed conflicts we see unfolding all over the world will be accompanied by turmoil &doubt in our heads.
