This is a fun simple composition with the winding river providing the visual path to a richly colored sky. The contrast between those rich saturated colors of the sky and the deep dark greens of the marsh create a lot of drama and impact.

My theory is that #Substack may be testing people's reactions to extreme far-right content. There is no reason anyone would randomly get an entire home feed of far, far right, explicitly n*zi content as a brand new user. Whether they are also testing other treatments I don't know. But wtf
This is so weird. After I got the confirmation email my feed refreshed is now 'normal'. But it's still showing nothing but US politics stuff - like posts from Jim Acosta etc etc. That's annoying and not relevant to the topics I selected when I set up the account. But at least it's not on 'evil mode'
It's so confusing because none of the topics I selected as interests are even in the feed. It's straight up n*zi / culture war / protein supplements. It's like I'm in some kind of evil A/B test or something.
Truly flabbergasted. Because it doesn't even make sense moneywise.
Substack's investors are expecting them to monetize very soon, and content like this is what made Twitter lose so much of its ad revenue so quickly.

Today I created a new account on #Substack. I was instantly shown a stream of posts like these (the first post was from a gothic letter 'national socialist' account). It then suggested I follow Edward Snowden, Tulsi Gabbard and Vivek Ramaswamy.
That platform is COOKED far beyond what I had imagined
